Data Deletion Policy

“1. Purpose

This document outlines our policy regarding the deletion of data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), effective as of May 2018. It delineates the rights of data subjects concerning data deletion and the obligations of Teen Patti Clan in responding to such requests.

  1. Individual Rights

Individuals possess the right to erasure, commonly referred to as ‘the right to be forgotten.’ This right empowers individuals to request the removal or deletion of personal data where its continued processing lacks compelling justification.

  1. When does the right to erasure apply?

Under the GDPR, individuals have the right to request the erasure of personal data and halt processing in specific circumstances:

  • When the personal data is no longer necessary for the original purpose of collection/processing.
  • Upon withdrawal of consent by the individual.
  • When the individual objects to processing, and there are no alternative legal grounds for the processing activity.
  • In cases of unlawful processing of personal data.
  • When erasure is necessary to comply with legal obligations.
  1. What information does Teen Patti Clan retain?

Teen Patti Clan collects information provided during registration for using its services, including personal details such as name, email address, credit card number, and login information such as session start/stop time, time zone, network connection type (e.g., WiFi, cellular), and KYC document/PAN card number. This information facilitates service management, eliminating the need for repetitive logins.

  1. How can data be deleted?

System administrators (individual users acting on behalf of their organization) have the authority to delete data from the Interplace system at their discretion. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered by users or Teen Patti Clan personnel. Deleted data may still reside in system backup files, which are periodically purged. Requests for data deletion can be made to service@teenpatticlan.app, with an undertaking to complete the deletion within one month (30 calendar days) and confirmation sent upon completion, whenever feasible.”
